Box Score HELENA, Mont. - Westminster played the closest 3-set match possible in claiming a 3-0 sweep of Carroll on Friday night. Westminster won by scores of 28-26, 25-23, 25-23 to improve to 9-16 on the season and finish 8-6 in the Frontier Conference. They now sit and wait for the regular season to conclude, but likely will finish as the fourth seed for next weekend's conference tournament.
Ali Culp led Westminster with 14 kills and 18 digs. She hit a .361, committing just one hitting error.
Brittani Barton added 13 kills and five digs, hitting .257 for the match. Westminster held a 46-41 advantage in kills and a .182 to .176 advantage in hitting efficiency.
Whitney Adams recorded 15 digs and
Leigha Dangerfield dished out 42 assists.
Westminster will open the Frontier Conference Tournament on Friday, November 14. The time is to be determined, but they should face this same Carroll squad in the opening round. The event is being hosted by Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho.
