Box Score SALT LAKE CITY - The Westminster Griffins dropped a third consecutive Frontier Conference home match 3-1 to Carroll College of Saturday afternoon. The loss came after a strong performance in set one in which the Griffins held Carroll to a negative .056 hitting efficiency while they hit .329. Westminster is now 3-11 overall and 3-4 in the conference.

Brittani Barton led the Griffins with 11 kills and two blocks. Ali Culp recorded 10 kills and six digs and fellow outside hitter Ericka Evans piled up eight kills and eight digs. Carroll had a 50-26 advantage in kills and finished the match with a .174 hitting efficiency to the .055 of the Griffins.

Next for Westminster is a trip to Illinois and four matches at the Olivet Nazarene Tournament. The Griffins will play twice on Friday, October 10 and two more times on Saturday, October 11.
