Box Score SALT LAKE CITY - The 2008 regular season came to an end in great fashion for the Westminster Griffins on Sunday afternoon. Westminster used a goal from three separate players to take the 3-0 Frontier Conference win over Great Falls. With the win, Westminster improves to 7-10-1 on the season and 2-4-0 in the conference.

Maddie Spere scored first for the Griffins, just 39 seconds into the contest. She took a cross from Corie Walch and put it past the keeper from 12 yards out. The game remained 1-0 until the 79th minute when Jen Pirente tallied her team-high sixth goal of the season, heading in a Brenna Sandquist cross. Rachel Watson added some insurance with her second goal of the year in the 87th minute.

Dayna-Winter Nolte recorded the shutout, making two saves and facing three total shots. Westminster recorded eight shots, but just the two they scored on in the second half.
