Box Score DILLON, Mont. - Westminster used a solid offensive night to claim a 3-0 sweep of Montana Western on Thursday night. The Griffins had a 40-24 advantage in kills while hitting .275 on the night. Westminster also recorded 49 digs and eight blocks in the 25-16, 25-21, 25-12 victory.
The Griffins put up 12 kills in set one, 15 in set two, and 13 more in the final set. They also hit .524 in that third set while holding Montana Western to .040.
Brittani Barton paced the Griffin offense with 10 kills, hitting .333. Ali Culp contributed seven kills and 14 digs. Setter
Leigha Dangerfield dished out 32 assists to go with her six kills and .857 hitting efficiency.
The loss is the 11th consecutive for Montana Western this season and the 28th straight Frontier Conference loss over a three year span.
Next for the Griffins is a Friday night match against Montana Tech in Butte, Montana. That match will begin at 7:00 p.m.
