Box Score CEDAR CITY, Utah - Southern Utah scored three first half goals to beat Westminster 3-0 on Saturday afternoon. Westminster could only manage seven shots in the game. The loss drops the Griffins to 5-8-1 on the season.

Erin Marble put SUU ahead 1-0 in the eighth minute. Shaley Ipson-Allen made it 2-0 in the 31st minute and her teammate Erica Berlin put in a penalty kick to make it 3-0 in the 37th minute. Westminster was outshot in the game 20-7 and also trailed in corner kicks 4-1. Dayna Winter-Nolte recorded eight saves in the game for Westminster.

The Griffins will return to action when they visit Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana for a Frontier Conference game on October 16.
