Zach Kessler, a 5-10 senior from Salt Lake City, made the First Team All-MCLA at defense. Kessler appeared in every game during the 2009 season and recorded 41 ground balls. He was the leader of the Griffins defense that allowed just 10.1 goals per game.  He was named a Second Team All-American last season.
