SUNDAY RIVER, Maine – The Westminster women's alpine ski team claimed a second consecutive national championship after winning the slalom event at the USCSA National Championships on Friday afternoon. Westminster claimed the title thanks to winning today's slalom event and Wednesday's giant slalom. The Griffins have now won the championship in each of the two tears of the program.

Kendall Brown claimed the individual national championship in the slalom event with her two-run time of 1:47.76. She posted the fastest time of the first run with a time of 50.63. Her second run of 57.13 was sixth-best overall. Maria Camilla Fraschini finished fourth overall after completing her two runs in 1:48.77. She had the fourth fastest time in the first run at 51.77.

Perrine Voisin placed eighth in the final standings at 1:50.88. Voisin jumped from 15th after the opening run behind the third fastest second run time at 56.77. Wiktoria Glowszynski was fourth at 1:51.01 and had the fourth-best second run at 56.98. Ulrikke Nicolaisen rounded out the Westminster field with a 15th place finish with a time of 1:52.07.

Westminster finished with a total team time of 327.41 to win the event. Sierra Nevada's top three competitors posted a time of 332.47 to finish second overall.
