SALT LAKE CITY – Westminster women's lacrosse head coach Soni Bartlett has signed
Kaicee Beal for the 2009-2010 season. Beal becomes the first player to sign with the Griffins for the second year of the program.
Beal will join Westminster after prepping at Olympus High School in Salt Lake City. In her senior season she totaled 94 goals on 141 shots. Beal also added 19 assists and recorded 56 ground balls. Her 190 career goals are an Olympus school record. She was named Second Team All-State as a senior and was an Academic All-American.
Westminster finished the inaugural year of women's lacrosse with a 3-5 overall record. They began the year with two consecutive home wins against teams from the Rocky Mountain Women's Lacrosse League. The Griffins finished fourth in the RMWLL, going 3-3 in conference games.
