OGDEN, Utah – The Westminster track & field team competed at the Utah/Weber State Spring Classic over the weekend and finished the two days of events with a school record and eight top-10 performances.

It was another solid weekend for
Payton Schiff as the senior set the school record in the women's 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:16.98 on Friday. She then went 4:46.43 in the women's 1500 Meter Run on Saturday. That time is the second fastest in school history in the event.

Lasana Trawally continued his stellar freshman campaign with a personal-best 22.92 seconds in the men's 200 Meter Dash on Saturday. The time is the fastest by a Griffin in the event this season and second best in school history.

Friday's meet at Utah also saw
Kylie Harrison run 16.44 seconds in the women's 100 Meter Hurdles to set a season best and move into ninth in team history. Harrison moved into sixth in school history with a distance of 9.88 meters in the women's Shot Put and set a personal best in the Long Jump with a leap of 4.81 meters.

Lindsey Hall established four personal best marks on Friday. She went 17.20 seconds in the 100 Meter Hurdles and hit a distance of 4.35 meters in the Long Jump. Hall would also hit marks of 8.36 meters in the Shot Put and 26.04 meters in the Javelin.

During Saturday's action at Weber State,
Allison Wright moved into sixth-place in school history in the women's 200 Meter Dash after completing her race in 26.58 seconds.
Naena Bland, Hall, Harrison, Emily Bergland, and
Jillian Leis all set personal best marks in the event.

Joe Cremer continued his senior season by adding his name to the Westminster top-10 in the men's 400 Meter Hurdles by completing the race in 55.49 seconds.

Chandler Clark hit 42.12 meters in the men's Discus to hit seventh in the school record book.

The Griffins will be back in action on Friday and Saturday in Logan when they compete at the Mark Faldmo Invitational.
