SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster women's basketball team head coach
Shelley Jarrard announced today that Caitlyn Nichole Nabity has signed and committed for the 2018-19 season. Nabity is a 5'7 point guard from Richfield, Utah.
Nabity was a four-year varsity starter at Richfield High School. In 2014-15, her freshman year she, received an Honorable Mention for the All Region team. In 2016-17, her Junior year, she was named to the All-State First team, All-Region First team, Mid-Utah Radio Offensive Player of the Year, and
Desert News All-tournament team. Nabity averaged 6.4 points and 5.1 assists per game in 2016-17.
Nabity shared her thoughts about her signing as a Griffin, "The first time I visited campus, I fell in love with everything about it, both the athletic and academic situation. I am stoked to officially call myself a Griffin!"

Shelley Jarrard said, "I am thrilled about having Caitlyn join our program next season. She is an athletic, true point guard who has a knack for the game and a savvy beyond her years. She will help us immediately with her quickness, ball-handling and passing. She is also an excellent student, hard worker and great fit for Westminster College."
