SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster College Athletics Department would like to recognize Oliver Lange of the Westminster men's cross country team and Ashley Marchant from the women's volleyball team as the Westminster Student-Athletes of the Month for November.

Lange finished second at the Frontier Conference Cross Country Championships and was named all-conference for a second consecutive season. He qualified for the NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championships, becoming the first Griffin to qualify for the meet.  The junior placed 71st at the National Championships with a time of 25:25 over the 8K course. He was also named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete.

Marchant was named First Team All-Frontier Conference after helping the Griffins to a 14-13 overall record this season. The senior led the Griffins this season with 295 kills and hit .185. Marchant recorded 15 matches with at least 10 kills and has 12 double-doubles. She ranked in the Frontier top 20 in seven statistical categories and led the league with an average of 0.41 service aces per set. Marchant was also named a Daktronics/NAIA Scholar Athlete.
