MEN'S SCHEDULE | WOMEN'S SCHEDULE

SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster College men's and women's track head coach Craig Binkley released the schedule for the 2012 indoor and outdoor season today. Westminster will compete in 10 events during the year with five during indoor season and five during the outdoor season.

The Griffins will begin the year on Jan. 14-15 at the Snake River Open hosted by Idaho State.  The indoor meet will take place at Holt Arena in Pocatello, Idaho.  Westminster will then compete in the Bronco Invitational on Jan. 21.  That meet will take place in Nampa, Idaho at the Jackson Track and is hosted by Boise State.

The indoor season continues on Jan. 28-29 at the Mountain States Invitational in Pocatello.  Idaho State will again host the meet at Holt Arena.  Another trip to Nampa is on tap for Feb. 4 for the Bronco Open.  Boise State will also host this meet at the Jackson Track.  The final indoor meet is slated for Feb. 18 at the Wildcat Open in Ogden, Utah.  Weber State is the host and the meet will take place at the Swenson Indoor Track on the Weber State campus.

Westminster will begin the outdoor season in San Diego, Calif. when they travel to the Point Loma Nazarene Invite.  PLNU is the host of the meet at their on-campus track facility.  The Griffins enter the Utah Valley Invitational on Mar. 30 in Orem, Utah.  UVU will host the event at the Hal Wing Track & Field on the UVU campus.

After a week off, the Griffins will compete in the Utah/Weber State Dual Meet.  The first day of the meet is slated for Apr. 13 at the McCarthey Family T&F Complex on the Utah campus.  The meet then continues in Ogden on Apr. 14 at the Chick Hislop Outdoor Track on the Weber State campus.

The Mark Faldmo Invitational will take place on Apr. 21 in Logan, Utah.  The meet will be held at the Ralph Maughan Track Stadium and is being hosted by Utah State.  The outdoor season concludes on May 2 at the Weber State Twilight in Ogden.

The NAIA Indoor National Championships are slated for Mar. 9-10 with the Outdoor National Championships being held on May 24-26.
